BCM today introduced the new BCM Gunfighters Grip (GFG), a reduced angle AR pistol grip that optimizes fire control ergonomics when employing modern weapons manipulation techniques that incorporate body armor and weapons accessories such as vertical grips, lasers and optics. Selected for “Best of Shot Show 2012” by the Military Times Gear Scout blog, the BCM GFG is an update to the classic A1 and A2 design, bringing the pistol grip to the 21st century where cutting edge fighting techniques are vastly different than those employed in the 1960s when the M16 was first fielded by the US Military. Offered in 2 configurations, the MOD 0 features a slim design, similar in size to the A1 and A2 pistol grips, while the MOD 1 features a high rise back strap. Every BCM GFG comes with two Modular Trigger Guard Inserts that close the gap between the trigger guard and the pistol grip, with one version extended and one smooth, giving further customization options to the end user.
