AR15 COMPLETE UPPER RECEIVERS
One of the major benefits to the AR15 and M4 platforms is the modular milspec construction of the weapon. Replacing the complete upper receiver of a milspec AR15 is as simple as pushing in two pins and removing or replacing the upper receiver. Note: Some Colt AR15’s ans SPORTERS use a screw at one pin location. This modularity allows the shooter to have unlimited upper receivers that will work with their favorite lower. Examples would include a dedicated .22lr upper for low cost plinking, a 24″ free float heavy barreled upper receiver for long range target and varmint shooting, a 16″ light contour barrel for action and speed, Pistol caliber uppers for inexpensive and common ammunition. Those wishing to get into class III weapons can with proper legal approval from the BATFE can assemble SHORT BARRELED RIFLES or “SBR’s” with barrel lengths less than the legal minimum length of 16″. Also worth noting you can purchase complete uppers with 14 1/2″ barrels that with the proper muzzle attachment pinned and welded in an approved BATFE manner can be considered a 16″ barrel.

The SGP-QCB Upper Assembly

SGPQCB Barrels
This new style upper, Model SGP-QCB, allows the shooter to change the barrel and the incorporated gas piston system in seconds! The design allows for easier cleaning, caliber changes, and various barrel lengths. Adapt from 10″ to 24″ in seconds. Caliber conversions: .22cal-.223in, 7.62x39mm, 5.45x39mm, 6.5, 6.8mm. This system is sold as a complete upper which comes with bolt, carrier, charging handle, and gas piston barrel assembly.
TNW Quick Change Upper/Handguard Assembly Upper allows for barrel assemblies to be rapidly removed and installed. When operated, two levers on each side of the handguard allow for barrels to be removed and installed from the front. No torque wrench or adjustments are required. Quick change barrels allows for a variety of calibers and barrel lengths to be used with one upper receiver. Included with the Upper is the attached free float, quad rail handguard. The Quick Change Upper accepts standard direct impingement barrel assemblies and bolt carrier groups. The Upper can also be retrofitted for gas system quick change if a new carrier is installed. Rails are removable.
